WEB: Stop chasing the money and start chasing the passion
In a recent interview with Forbes, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh shared his thoughts on the importance of passion in business. "I think the biggest mistake people make is chasing the money," he said. "If you're not passionate about what you're doing, you're not going to be successful."
Hsieh believes that passion is the key to success because it drives people to work harder and be more creative. "When you're passionate about something, you're willing to put in the extra hours and do the extra work," he said. "You're also more likely to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems."
Hsieh's advice is echoed by other successful entrepreneurs. Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, has said, "If you're not passionate about your business, you're not going to be successful." And Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, has said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
So if you're looking to be successful in business, start by finding something you're passionate about. Once you find your passion, you'll be more likely to succeed.
